  Jesus “Was” but not “IS” Michael!

  to honor the son is to honor the father.. i am a practicing jw who i believe is of the heavenly calling.

  this post is not to criticize wts but to open honest discussion among mature followers of christ.. there has been much controversy around the wts doctrine regarding the arch angel michael.

  as many are aware, wts believe that jesus in his pre-human existence was michael , gods first born.

  I have a problem any suggestions would be appreciated

  this year will be my parents 50th wedding anniversary.

  my mum is a jw my father is not.

  my husband and i hade been df'd and i have 3 sisters.

  When any-one else has a problem you give amazingly balanced logical and practical advice yourself so the fact you have requested help indicates what an awful dilemma this is.

  Unfortunately the JWs are generally not so balanced so I can see they will want it all their own way which is very unfair.

  Reasonableness is not their strongest point.

  since i'll be seeing you on saturday [at her sisters wedding who is also an exjw], i thought i should let you know why i removed you from my friends list and didn't accept your last request.

  i did this because i saw you were in an ex jehovah's witness recovery group.

  I feel very sorry for her---she's in an impossible spot.

  So true.

  There is a huge gulf between those of us who discover the truth about the WT and leave and those who just can't do it any more or get d'fd. If they still believe and think they are the problem, not the bOrg at fault then the rest of us are "mentally diseased apostates" and to be avoided.

  The doubts of others are apostasy but our own doubts are just that, doubts. Funny how the mind works when you are in a cult!

  I have found out the hard way that friends can voice doubts, criticise and even leave but the minute I mention my doubts I am told Satan has caught me!

  I understand it is to preserve the moral fibre of the congregation, but it just seems wrong coming from my perspective.

  Please, please, please keep your own perspective in mind when listening to them.

  so my sister sent me and my brother 4 shirts i get 1st pick ... i can never pick last time he got first pick i got the ones i didn't want .. but i like them anyway so ..i saw some of you posted on obves, you got nothing to do..lol thanks in advance.
